Research activities
The main scientific interests are chemoresistive gas sensors based on thin films and metal oxide nanostructures, recently supplemented by electronic thermal noses, An innovative approach to electronic noses using a thermal gradient instead of sensors made from different materials. All these devices should go towards the rapid and non-invasive assessment of agri-food products and their quality and freshness.
