partnership with other groups in FEM
The QS unit intends to contribute within the C3A to the activation of:
• A multidisciplinary research line for the study of consumer behavior that integrates the FEM (sensorial science) skills with those of university students in the cognitive sciences (CiMeC), sociological (Sociology and Social Research Department) and socio-economic (Department of Economics and Management).
• A line of research on the resistance of the vines to abiotic stress, with particular reference to the role of volatile compounds and to the quality of the grapes (mixed units with C3A, Prof. Stella Grando, Prof. Massimo Bertamini)
• A research line focused on direct ionization mass spectrometry for the rapid and highly sensitive monitoring of volatile compounds for development and applications in the agri-food sector, for phenotyping and study of the relationships between the plant and the environment
The research activity can be carried out through advanced training courses with co-funded research doctorates and can be integrated with the activation of specialized courses for the three-year degree in Viticulture and Oenology to the future specialist degree in Environmental Meterology.
• Collaborations with all other CRI departments and other FEM centers. Eg:
CRI-DGBPF (B. Farneti, L. Giongo, F. Costa, PL. Magnago).
CRI-DBEM (C. Varotto).
CRI-DASB (M. Perazzolli, N. La Porta).
CTT-SPERIM (S. Silvestri).
CIF-University education, professional and high education.
