The Teaching Room is dedicated to prof. Versini who was a pioneer in bringing sensory analysis to the Fondazione Edmund Mach. The room is equipped with 48 tasting places with individual sinks and it is used for sensory analysis courses. Here, students learn under the guidance of an expert what sensory analysis is and how the senses work. The room is also used by food experts like, for instance, oenologists, who meet here and taste and evaluate the sensory quality of wines.

The Sensory Lab is on the ground floor of the Palazzo della Ricerca e della Conoscenza (PRC) of the Research and Innovation Centre (CRI) at the Edmund Mach Foundation.
